Not new to growing but never done it indoors. I've got a 3×3×6 grow tent. I bought a led grow light from a friend no box no specs said it's 250 watt. Working great on veg. Going to bud soon wondering if it will be enough to bud well. Thinking about buying a light off Amazon to supliment the budding. Please give me some input my Gorilla Zkittlez is counting on you.
I'd think it would he good enough to get you through to harvest.....however....supplemental lighting would surely help!

A couple more Oz off the plant is unlikely from adding another burple. Seriously, That light @Han-Bolo suggested above will kick ass, and for that grow area you won't ever need more. Then you can work on the other stuff that will increase yield and quality knowing for sure lights aren't holding you back.
Again thank you for the information didn't go for that light honestly cash was the issue. Got me thinking my room runs at 70° so I could get away with a ml hps light(friends have used them for years). So I bought a 400 watt hps (half the price). Don't think I'll be able to use in the summer but main priority was not to blow this grow with fluffy Bud's. Not going to use both lights to bud but could you combine both lights in a bigger room?
Yea that definetly crossed my mind. 2 questions then. Would that be too much light for my 3×3 tent? Would it be worth the extra hydro I do have 4 plants crammed in there which may be too many
That 3x3 is going to get hot as hell with a 400 w HPS and a 250 w blurple. If you can keep the environment under control then youll be fine, your gonna need alot of airflow. You shouldve taken my advice and bought the one I linked, or at least waited lol. Do you have a sealed refelctor? if so do you also have a duct fan/carbon filter and ducting to mount and operate the light properly or do you plant on just sticking the light in there? You should mount the ballast outside the tent at least. The extra money you have to spend on a duct fan/carbon filter for the old school light set up (if you want to do it right at least), and the money you will spend on bulbs will equal the cost of the light I linked. best of luck
Installed light haven't hooked my duct fan up to light to test.I run about 22° C . So it only went up 2 or 3 degrees. No room for both lights. The plants seem to love it. If it runs too hot in summer I'll definitely buy that light
