I've already emailed the manufacturer but they take 24 hours to respond so I thought I'd post my problem here. The light that my LED used to give off was a really faint purple/pink, but today it's completely white. I didn't think much of the weak purple/pink color until I bought a second LED and saw how dark the purple/pink is. Does that mean my first light was defective? I've got a couple days to return it to amazon for a refund so I'm not worried, just annoyed that my light may have been defective this whole time.
I had a similar issue with one of my lights where about 1/3 the diodes didn't light up. it was not until i fired up the second one i found out mine was defective. i was post return policy, and contacted the manufacturer, sent it in for repair and it came back 100% working. Id say send it back for the refund and get a new one if you can.
cool, thanks for your input. I couldn't find any posts online to do with this so thanks for putting my mind at ease. I'll ship it back tomorrow
I thought the new LED technology was to emit more of a white light rather than the disco colored light i.e. purple, pink. My LED emits a white light without any purple hue whatsoever.
it's true, the newer ones do give off white light, but mine started light pink and then went white. How much did yours cost? Mine was about 250 for a 400w led off amazon.
Im currently using a Kind LED. Although everything I've been reading about some of the new Tech coming out is making me look into the NextLight Mega 650w which is due out sometime in the near future.
