Okay guys i have a 300 watt led grow light 3w in a 4'x2'x5' grow room and 4 150 watt cfls with about 3 plants what would be the best distance to put my lighting away from the plants itself?
I'm pretty sure I read that a good distance is take the back side of your hand and move it towards the light and where you can comfortably hold your hand for a several minutes is where you want to keep lights off your plants?
that would be the general rule for HIDs but a 300W LED hardly gives off uncomfortable heat. Make sure there is light penetrating the canopy is about all I can think of for LEDs.
