I cannot personally vouch for the wattage draw but everything that I have read says that it has an actual draw of 300 watts. As a rule of thumb I cut it in half. Dunno about the black star, but most companies and depending on the LEDs being used will be from 1.2-1.8 watts per led. The UV/IR ones are the worst. Sales people will tell you 2.2 watts, but have seen panels (7 band) where the addition of UV and IR diodes has pulled the whole panel power down to the level of the more delicate diodes.
