LED 900w vs 1200w, 56w per sq' vs 75w per sq'

  1. Thank you to all contributors. You advice and time is greatly appreciated.

    Tent: 4'x 4'=16 sqft
    Lights: LED
Question: Would I yield 300w more product with a 1200w light, as compared to 900w led total power?

Context: I want to maximize the efficiency of this grow and my lights. You need 50 led watts per sq foot to grow sufficiently. At 900 total w, that is slightly over 56w per sq ft. At 1200 total w, that is 75w per sq ft. Both are over the general threshold for growing sufficiently in a 16 sq ft area, however which is the better choice? 900watts or 1200 watts? I'm thinking about diminishing returns. At what point does the increase in light output not help increase overall production at the same rate? Would 1200 watts, or 75 watts per sq ft provide me with 300 watts of more product (est. 150- 200 gr) or should I use the extra 300 watts elsewhere?

  2. I got the viparspectra 900w and used the extra 100$ and got a nice set of fans for my Apollo 4x4 tent
