Leaving Book In Sun

  1. If you were to leave a softcover book in a car all day, when it is blazing hot and the sun is beating on the widows and whatnot, would that somehow mess the book up? Someone told me it would mess the binding up, is that legit?

  2. Legitest thing I have ever read.

  3. No...They lied to you.  It is the elves, when you leave your vehicle they are watching from the tops of the trees.  Once you are inside the building they pop the lock with a slim-jim and spit on the book repeatedly, which of course due to the acidity of elf saliva fades the color of the cover.

I'm fuckin' with you, yeah...Sun bleaches the cover and it will fade.[IMG]

  4. I'm sure it could. Glue keeps it together and paper isn't that resistant.

  5. Probably. But why would you want to do that to a book?

  6. Wish that was all i had to worry about lol

  7. I had this happen to my copy of The Chamber of Secrets when I was 10, thanks for bringing back that memory.
