Leaves Yellowing - Sick Plant?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by LieutenantDank, Oct 1, 2006.

  1. One of my newly planted, er, plants is getting some yellowing around the edges of the leaves and dots in the center. The plant is 10 days old. Attached are two pictures. Thanks.

  2. What type of soil do you have?
What type of lights are they under?
Your cup needs more dirt in it.
Too late now, they should be transplanted to something bigger real soon.
You don't feed it do you?
What are the temps in the room?
Your cups have drain holes at the bottom right?

  3. Basic potting soil with no nutrients added.

    Under 4 4-foot 40 watt flourescent bulbs.

    About 80-85 degrees.

    Yes to holes.

We were going to transplant soon, think that's the problem?

  4. I dont see a big problem there. I would transplant it into a pot with a good amount of soil and water it with ph adjusted water when needed.

  5. Not nescessarily.
I was leaning towards a little over fert but, it sounds like they have not gotten any fert. I would transplant soon. You can go to an 8 inch pot or so. Like whodi said, there might not even be a problem. They look pretty OK.
