Alright my plants are on day 24 and they are now showing yellowing of the leaves. I think I know the problem. I got the wrong fertilizer I know cuz I got the miracle grow with nutes in it so do you think they are fert burnt? Should I replant in some different soil? When I watered they seemed to get a little better but not much. Thanks for all the advice.
Ok so can someone tell me if this is possible......Im on day 24 of veg and I am needing to transplant asap. Is there anyway I can take them out of veg to figure out sex, transplant the females, then put them back in veg when I do?
no, you don't need to transplant, it's not great medium, but it's not toxic waste either. they prob. need to be fed. soils like the mg you're using have nutes in them but they're time released and not enough to feed your plant completely/properly. i'd start them now at 1/2 or 3/4 strength nutes. if you want to sex them simply take cuttings and put the cuttings on 12/12. leave the plants where they are. you don't want to mess with their schedule. the cuttings will show you what is what.
As long as your plants are not seedlings they might be OK but, why not just pick up some descent soil. Certainly no seedling in that soil. If your plants are doing OK leaf them, if you feel they could be growing faster, scrap the soil and get something worth the money. How they look today?
Yea they are looking terrible. The bottom two leaves are brown and shrivvled at the tip and they are like half the size they were and the rest of the leaves are all drooping and just looking bad on one plant. I dunno I got some bigger pots today so I just need soil. I think Ill get some tomorrow. I think Ill go to Earl may so hopefully they have something good. What kind of food should I get and what does it come in? Like a box or what?
Depends what kind of ferts you get. You can get some water soluble. Anything good for veggies is good. Liquid ferts are good too. Or you can use some guano and other organics. All your choice on ferts.
