Leaves turning yellow and one plant that looks sad...

  1. Greetings all,

As my plants start to flower I noticed that the largest leaves on the sedcond node are turning yellow. Is this normal? Have a look here:

Also, the top of one plant is not looking as... hmm, how should I put this, as "perky" as the others. The pistils lie flat or point downward as opposed to upward and rejoicing for the gift of light. Is this something I should worry about?

This is the melancholly looking plant with the depressed pistils:

As compared to this very happy looking plant with pistils errect:

Is this an issue? I am a novice so for all I know it is just the pheno of the plant but I figured I'd ask here to be sure.

  2. Try feeding it nutrents looks like its starving

  3. You're not giving it enough nutrients, so it's feeding off itself. Get some Nitrogen in there ASAP, with some sort of plant food. I use MiracleGro liquid, all-purpose feed, and it keeps it nice and green. You may end up chopping those lower leaves, don't worry about it though. Have you considered using Superthrive, too?
