Leaves turning brown and crispy not sure what’s happening

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by calicheef, Apr 5, 2020.

  1. This started a few weeks into veg and just got worse and worse so here we are. Any suggestions from more experienced growers? this is only my second time growing. I grow in a very cold climate so i’ve ruled out heat burn but other than that i’m questioning ph? light levels? any sort of deficiency (or toxicity/burn)?
    Best wishes,
    A fellow botanist

  3. I guess I can’t even call myself a botanist then. Thanks for the advice though.

  4. Stop feeding nutrients every watering. Also are you measuring what you put in and also checking ph? For the next two waterings I would use just straight water.

  5. If in soil do a slurry test. Take a large shot glass of soil. Dig down a little. Than put that into a Tupperware small container. Than put the equal amount of distilled water. Stir for 1 minute and than stick ur ph meter than ur ppm meter. This will show u what's going on! So if ppms are over 400 u just need water and microbes if u use them. Under 400 ppm feed
