Hello, so when my girls woke up i watered and fed them with a 4-4-12. They are 4 weeks in flowering. my setup is 2x philips HPS 600w. the Soils PH is 6.5 and also the waters PH is 6.5. what should i do? does anyone identify the problem?
I can identify your problem bro TOO MUCH LIGHT. Without a doubt. If I were you, I would : a) Raise your light as much as you can b) Consider reducing the output from 600w to 400w - If using an adjustable ballast. c) Increase your airflow at the top of your grow space! d) If you cant raise the light - Maybe try and bend those Kolas down to give more distance between light and top of canopy - Good luck,
Thank you very much for your reply, and would that do it suddenly in 8 hours after watering? they are with the same lights and distance over 4 weeks
It will start to show signs (like it is) when it hits/or gets near it's saturation point. Now you have seen the symptoms, you can act
thank you very much. i will try and bend the colas with a string because they are almost in the highest position in the tent.
Very interesting, I’m dealing with a “too much light” issue atm too I think. But raising my lights helped quite a bit
Hello again, my girls woke up and look like this.. i raised the lights around 10cm couldnt do anymore and increased the airflow and temprature a bit
Feeding with salt based nutes will give instant food to the plants resulting in the PRAYERS or "Leafs pointing up" Those are mostly all active ingredients those plants were thanking you my man! She still is that is never a bad sign it is a sign of photosynthesis . HPS along with MH can get pretty close to canopy without having negative side effects, I am talking 24 inches. Plants getting too much light at 1200 Watts.... Probably not... I would keep both lights on keep them at least 24 inches away (Hand check for heat stress) and let those girls rock out cheers -Bigbudz
