That soil mix is not extremely heavy and it drains well while still retaining it's moisture to some extent, at that stage I would go 3-5 days until the pot feels light, then water, use filtered or well water at least every second or third watering to rinse the nitrogen accumulation out, hope this helps, if all else fails switch to boomerang for a few watering at 1/2 strength and it fixes a lot of issues
