Hey guys I am currently on Day 13 of growth on a new strain from La Plata Labs named Colorado Clementine. I germinated my beans on April 1st and put them into 1 gallon pots with Fox Farm Happy Frog as my medium for my seedlings on April 3rd. (Transplanting in Ocean Forest later in my grow). I am currently seeing them grow and growth has been very good except for some problems I been running into. The leaves on some of my plants are starting curl upward. I have no idea why. I got 8 sprouts under a HydroFarm Sunburst 150 HPS. The light is about 1 foot over my sprouts on a 24/0 time schedule. Temperatures in the room from 73 degrees to 79 degrees (hits 80 degrees sometimes but never for a long time). My plants are growing good and fast but that leaf curling just does not look appealing to me and I'm afraid I might be stressing them. I just wanna know what it can be and how I can fix it. Please any help, tips, info, and recommends will be greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks in advance

  3. Oh and I have not fed them nothing at all just pure RO water. Can leave curling be them telling me they are hungry?

  4. just a thought it could be the temp in you grow tent/space is a little on the high side,,,mac

  5. You think so bro? Yeah I feel you I was thinking that too. Should I raise the light? I have grown other strains before n some even got to a hotter temperature at times n they never did this. Could this strain just be more sensetive to heat than others?

  6. It's not a tent it's a room with central air vent. Do I just need to keep it cooler in there?

  7. have you got a fans,, one of the osculating fans to move the air around would help a bit ,can you let a bit more air in to the room as well ,,mac

  8. Yes I have fans in there. 3 small clip fans and another bigger fan at all times. Door to room is open at some times to let fresh air in. Fans are constantly moving air around in room.

  9. i'd lift the light just a few inches higher that may help then the plant will soon get used to the light .ive got a 250w sodium light after veggin under a 125w CFL for just over a month my sodium light is put about a foot and a half above the plant/s for a week 10 days then i move it down a couple inches every few days till its about 10inchs to a foot away all through flowering .....mac

  11. Should I start feeding them?

  12. This is my current situation.
Are they ready to start eating or will the Happy Frog soil still hold them up for a while?

  16. i dont know about Fox farm soil/..but if it contains nutes the sprouts should be ok till they have made a good set of roots ,,i use potting soil/compost it as some nutes in to last at lest till i pot up in to a bigger pot ,i pot up when i see the roots starting to go around bottom of the pots....some times i dont feed any nutes while in veg for the 5weeks or so .them i pot up just before flipping them to flowerin 12/12...mac

  17. i dont know how to put a link to 'my grow'by mactheman ,but if you go to my profile page you should be able to get to my grow ,just go back and and look at a few of my grows it may help you or not lol....mac

  18. hi Dank i see you made it over to me grow thread ,,as you can see its just growing with no fancy pH meters just compost from the garden shop some times supermarket bought,,,,and using tomato feed at times ,,,to me its not rocket science to grow ,just dont panic over your grow just take it easy and let it go and grow ,,,you'll be smoking you harvest in no time ,,,,mac

  19. Yeah I checked out the first couple pages n saw that. That's awesome bro! Yeah I think I'm just over cautious n panicking bout it. I will read the rest of your grow journal when I have more time but yeah that's a interesting read for sure. Yeah I feel you can't wait to harvest n sample the fruits of my labor. Do u know anybody else who is growing this strain? Would like to see how they grow, what they like, quality of bud, etc.
