Leaves are turning dark green and shiny, is this normal?

  1. Its been about 2 weeks since the beginning of the grow. The plants are around 3-5" and are now showing a 4th leaf set. I've noticed the leaves on the plants have began to darken starting from the inner portion. These darkened sections I'm seeing are also very shiny. To me it appears that the plants are just so healthly that they almost have an artificial look to them. I couldn't take a picture which would capture what it is that I'm describing and can only hope that I described it in a way some one might understand. Thanks for the help, if the change becomes more noticable I will try to take a picture in which it can be viewed.

  2. Leave em alone and see the mystery that is the weed! I have some doing the same, but they've been put through all kinds of shit, from flower and back to veg; being left on the counter in a cup and getting water whenever.
You're plant will do fine, It's a weed!! Hiigel

  3. it could a nitrogen overdose, which will make your plants very dark green, this will occur if you are adding to much fertilizer. What ferts are you using? How much compared to the recommended dose on the bottle.
