It's actually pretty easy... I've learned the intro to fur elise and I've only been playing 15 minutes
I always wish I had kept taking piano lessons throughout high school and beyond. I still play occasionally, but it pisses me off to know that I was better in 8th grade than I am now. But yeah, good luck with the piano, it's a great instrument.
