I bought potting soil Brand X for a seed starter, and it doesn't drain, and clumps up into a mud ball when watered. You would think i would have realized that would be a problem, but i planted them nonetheless. Future plantings will be done with the same soil with added vermiculite, for adequate drainage and proper root aereration.
