  1. My entire room is starting to have this Taco Leaf, I am getting worried. First time running NYC Diesel. Lights are only at 600, temp is 79, humidity is 55. About to flip to flower. Running Growth Science 85% Aggressive Veg. Cal-Mag 3ml/pg.. Should I increase the Cag-Mag? --No bugs, I keep checking. I have four photos attached. HELP!

  2. usually this is a sign of heat stress. Your temps you posted look good but are you sure your thermometer is accurate?

  3. it is heat stress.

you need more and cooler intake air.!!

set the thermometer near one of the taco'd spots, at the same height, it will read higher then 79.

  4. Ok, let me see what it is reading. I have two 3-ton mini-splits, I'll drop the temps on them to 72.

  6. I would rise the lights since it seems to be mostly at the top and on the sides which would be what gets the most light.

  9. YOU ARE ALL RIGHT! I reset my thermostats kept my eye out and noticed it was getting up to 87 degrees at 4 am. One of my Mini Splits froze over, I turned it off, (and I turned off a couple lights, blasted the other mini-split). and defrosted it.

They are back to normal and looking like the babes I once knew! Thank you for your help! BOOM! Case closed!

  10. Really IMHO 75-82 degrees is the perfect temp, especially when using HID. Lower temps = less fert requirements so you have to be careful, or youll burn them up.
79 is perfect if you can keep it from going much higher. Get all the frest air to them possible.

And yes, they will need increasing amounts of EVERYTHING. I STRESS EVERYTHING.

Do go along with the long held myth weed needs less Nitrogen in flowering.

Weed like MORE of EVERYTHING. But the only real need to dramatically increase P/K is say you have an 8 weeks strain. 1st budset will begin around week 3, and into week 4. They need the big boost only then. Then in weeks 5-6, though Mg has been going up slightly along with all other nutirents. They need more of a boost a weeks 5-6.

After that, they only need be reduced slightly for the last 2 weeks, and are NEVER STARVED of any nutrient.
If a longer flowering strain, adjust accordingly.
Mono Potassium Phosphate is best for weeks 3-4....0-52-34. But only 2 weeks.

Not saying to use this fertilizer, only as a guide to show you that weed needs more, and more of everything as Budding Progresses.

  11. the only way to avoid the utility companies is to move outdoors and only use rain/creek water.!!

the utility co.'s are one reason i would LOVE to be growing outside again.!!

all the garden spots i had as a teen and early 20's are gone, houses have grown up instead.
my last crop was stolen, taken 3-4 weeks early at that, went to check on them and a tree had been cut down across the trail and 'No Trespassing' signs hung, only 3 small plants were left so i took them (2-3 weeks too soon)

  12. The only issue I have with the Power Company is Im in an unfriendly state, and if you use to much electricity you can cause problems

For what weed goes for where I am, the power bill is a small price to pay.

At $250 a month for 2 1000w flowering lights, and 1 x 1000w veg light, with $1000 total in 4 months, its easy to get 3lbs+ out of 2 flowering lights from start to finish.
More if its dialed in and strict attention payed to it and maximized.
Even at $2400 an lb that $7200 worth, and probably $1200 in total cost. Not including cost of the lights ect.

But if you've got 2 rooms after that you can get a harvest every 50-100+ days depending on strain ect, and yield of course depends on strain. What we use needs 1.5-2 months veg, and 56-66 days flowering.
So when big plants go into flowering, clones are taken, and they root, and veg by the 60-70 days, and are ready to go.
Can do this 6 times a year with 2 x 1000w Hortilux HPS, a 60 days flowering strain. 6 times x 3lbs or more every time.
