Leaf issue

    Just started week 5 of flower and I’ve been noticing a leaf here and there turning yellow then get brown dead spots and falling off but today I went and checked on her and there is considerable fading on one side of the plant. I just fed her yesterday. I’d say this started a week after stretch ended but at the time they were lower leaves that were not getting much light. I did add mag last week.

    Week 5 of flower
    FFOF-medium
    FF nutes- cha-ching/microbrew/tiger bloom big bloom/grow big...all nutes are at half strength according to their feeding chart except the cha-ching. Also botanicare sweet
    HLG Rspec 235w- light
    Bag seed
    Temps staying between 78-80 with lights on and a steady 75 lights off.

    Can't really tell from one picture but I'm seeing only older leaves are dying off.
    Try picking off the yellow leaves and see if the pattern you see repeats itself.
    If one side of your plant is doing the same thing, you probably have a bug or fungal problem.
    Also closely inspect the backs of the leaves you pull off. That is where you'll find any pests hiding.
    Older leaves turn yellow and die. Especially later in flower.

    It’s not just one side but more actively turning yellow on one side than the other

    Looks more like over watering issues. Maybe too much nitrogen in veg too.

    Could be a combination of things but I'm leaning more toward nutritent burn.

    What is the pH of your nutes and runoff? How often do you feed ???

    Once a week feeding
    Ph run off yesterday was 6.23
    Only watering when pot feels extremely light

    Leaves aren’t really burning except a little at the tips more like losing chlorophyll then once leaf is yellow they just die I’ll post a few more pics

    The too much nitrogen in veg could be it. I was adding kelp and mackerel plus the FF stuff. First time to use those.

    I have decided next grow to move away from FF and will be using humboldt county’s own line up

    I figured it was a nitrogen deficiency or needed some mag from what I had read. Plant is healthy just losing leaves quicker than normal only difference between this grow and previous is when I switched to flower I dialed back the base nutes but kept the flowering nutes at full strength

    they use the most N & mag during the stretch and continue to need/use it into flower. I don’t think you should start reducing N untill after week 5/6.
