  1. Hello everyone.
    Barneys farm gelato glue auto
    Unsure age, she's flowering though.
Lights are a 100w spider farm and 2 60w Mars hydros i had from years ago.

Soil is a mix of black gold and ocean forest.
Ph may be a little on the high side, tap water is around a 7 maybe a bit higher but I try to leave it out for a day before watering. Its hard to tell because I have a soil pH reader and it seems to be telling me my soil is above a 7 (reads between 7 and 8) but I ordered another ph reader so I could test water.

Anyways, the leaves have been drooping on her for the past few days. Temps are controlled with ac. I have a good watering schedule, no problems there as much as I can tell. She seems very healthy but the droop is got me worried. So I raised the lights, didn't seem to help. Do you guys think this might just be ph?

Should also add I've been giving small amounts of the fox farm trio nutes. Extremely small doses. Her sister plant is also very healthy, but leaves are tacoing yet she is further from the light. I'm not worried so much for about her because she is a photo, but this auto is going to finish first and needs to be prioritized. Should I be worried or maybe not?

  2. No soil in Black gold ORGANIC soil no FFOF.. sorry you didn't know this, read the label or ingrediencies
Did you mix in 20 to 30 % perlite. Sand, pea gravel, top soil? anything for drainage?
My guess is you have pour drainage roots are starved for fresh water and oxygen.

things that can be done is transplant or poke holes in the Soil less potting soil .

  3. Sorry I'm misunderstanding what you mean by no soil, no i didn't mix anything extra in. She's doing very well though, I mean explosive growth. I have poked some holes in the soil, though. To read with my ph meter. And testing for water and such.

  4. Bagged potting soil is a made up name for bagged compost... there is little to zero soil in bagged potting soil.
We don't care about what ever bagged Compost is called or named as long you know what your dealing with.
Problem being its compost..( tree bark fern leaves ) pretty much organic matter that wicks water like sponge
This why most members mix in perlite and top soil, sand pea gravel.
Couple reason,, one the plant needs Silica.. either organic ( rice hulls ) or mineral silica which is about 50% in dirt top soil.
2nd reason compost needs better drainage .

  5. Ah interesting. Next time I'll probably be using something different anyways.

  6. Nothing wrong with what you used, just mix about 20 to 40 % of perlite sand top soil you know EARTH, Minerals.
Research this out... for your own info. this a super common mistake the words potting soil is super misleading.
    best of luck
