currently a buddy of mine is growing 3 barneys blue cheese, and 1 dna hash plant haze, the soil is fox farm ocean forest with no nutes.temp is 77 and humidity at 40%,veg under a t5 hydrofarm light (3 inches from the top of plant)light is on for 24 hours a day and my question is with the provided pics anyone know what is going on with the lower leaves?does anyone recommend cutting the soil?
it could be a calcium or magnesium deficiency. also, cannabis plants do like a slightly more acidic pH, so maybe try to lower to 6.5 - 6.8.
as the plant roots it will start pulling nitrogen from the lower leafs to use for new growth. This is normal if they have had time to root they are ready for some nutrients. Then just pinch off the yellow leafs
^^^yes. agreed. but since the leafs are the very bottom leaves, not overshadowing any other healthy leaves, i wouldjust leave em. pun intentional.
the quick fix that you need to do anyway is to repot into a bigger container. I'm sure they are getting rootbound by now.
