Noticed this today when I opened my tent. Northern lights photo Soil with perlite Flora liquid nutes ph'd around 5.9-6.5 every other watering doing RO water ph'd 18-6 schedule This Sunday will be 6 weeks and flipping to flower Been doing LST Kind of a yellowing to the leaves And the rocks on top are just to keep soil displacement down It is also just on the lower set of fan leaves. The leaves higher up look fine Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Ok. I can adjust as needed. Another question. I just noticed this when I was turning my pot. What should I do? Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
not sure what you mean. The droopy leaf? it also helps to have natural instead of purple light for the pics
No. Sorry forgot about the light. The new growth. I didn't plant another seed. Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I think my soil has spots like that on the surface too. I dont think its weed but just some random weed
Question. If I've got a nitrogen deficiency how should I adjust my nutes? Currently been feeding 2.5ml of micro 2.5ml of grow and 1ml of bloom from the liquid flora series. I tried searching around for other schedules people use and its all about the same. Other than the General Hydroponics schedule that its double everything on their website. I have not much experience with nutrient lines. I wonder why you give bloom already though? Is that the schedule? You can also do a slurry test to check your ph and PPM in the soil. It also depends on the N P K ratios of the nutrients. In Veg you want mainly N and K
I just gave bloom based off the feed schedules I've found. Also been giving worm castings which is like 1.25% N. FloraMicro is a total of 5% N, FloraGro is 2% N and FloraBloom has no Nitrogen. Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
But when I get home today I will look into other feeding schedules and even mixing to the ratios that General Hydroponics provides. I just haven't followed it due to other reccomendations not to. Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
So returning to this thread. My leaves are still yellowing and it is still primarily my first set of fan leaves but they look to be pretty much died off at this point. I've had to do some super cropping since then and and currently a week into flower. Still using the GH nutes but have changed feed amounts for flower. Any advice is still welcome. Almost feel like I should crop them at this point. And sorry for poor lighting my phone was almost dead. Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yes I upped the Nitrogen for about a week but I have now flipped to flower and wasn't sure about continuing the FloraGro which has the highest N percentage. So should I continue to feed the FloraGro at a mid-late veg plan? I've recently switched my feeding to 2ml FloraMicro, .5ml FloraGro, and 2ml Florabloom. I am currently one week and one day into flower.
Its not really that big of a deal with leaves turning yellow, but a little N during flower is recommended by some people. Really up to you and what you think is best. You can read the plant better than anybody could from pictures
Should this be fine? Ferti-Lome Fish Emulsion Liquid Organic Plant Food 16 oz. - Ace Hardware Sent from my LM-V405 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
No you need to flush plant with plain water and don't use fish emulsion. It looks like lockout Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
