Thinking about, rebuilding my grow area, I have next week off work, just wondering what you think? current set up was going to be a 2.2m x 1m room, 4 plants in a line, each plant would need to fill a space of 1m x 55cm, I can do it but its not easy to keep the canopy level could use 8 plants but I am trying to keep the plant count low and I would need a larger veg area. so this is my idea The one on the left is my current setup, one on the right could be my next setup, I would use large 45cm plant rings to hold the canopy is place, with the new setup, each plant would need to fill a space of 75cm x 75cm and this would be a larger canopy than my current setup. raising the plants off the floor 15" would make life easy( my lights have never really been more than 130cm off the floor), 1ft for the pots plants, 2ft high for the plant and 1ft space between the lights and the canopy. there going to be easy to train and keep them about 18" above the pots. Has any tried this before? I did a smaller setup like this with great results never tried one this size before.
I have just built a large veg cabinet next to my large flower room to free up space in the shed, just need to put the lights in tonight, but once that's sorted, i will be looking into building the lazy susan for flower room(shed) I was working on the design last night, trying to work out, the best way of using the space. larger veg room and small flower room or stagger the plants one in every 2 weeks.
Most sequential growers I know have their flower rooms 50-75% smaller than the veg room, but they are landrace/regular growers, tossing out their males once vegged out a buddy did make a turn table thing powered by a timer and a microwave oven motor good luck
