laying on your muscle?

  1. is this bad? i mean like well for me i used to sleep on my chest every night and i also couldnt get my chest bigger. so would there be any negative effect on my muscle by like laying on it?
     
  2. No you can sleep in whatever position you want. Just make sure you get ENOUGH sleep, that is important. The position you sleep in will have no affect on muscle development.
     
  3. Nope. I wouldn't worry about it at all and as the person above said, just make sure you get enough sleep (7-8 hours ideal).
     
  4. Well, years ago I did read some old book by Arnold Shwarzenegger and he stated he always slept on his back due to his back growing wide unlike the chest which grows outward. I think that's really just some old broscience from The Oak.:rolleyes:
     
  5. Well I sit on my ass all the the time and it's doin fine
