Lawyers

    Hey everyone, It came to my mind today that I should at least have a lawyer's number in case I ever get caught by the police. I've found one near me and saved his number. should I do anything else or just call him if I need to? Do any of you have a lawyer picked out already for if you get caught?

    Unless you have like an ounce then there's no point in having a lawyer. You'd prolly just get confiscated with a warning or a summons.

    I live in New Hampshire and I found a lawyer about 30 minutes away from me. I doubt I'll ever get caught, but on all the "dealing with cops" threads they say to ask to talk to your laywer and tell them nothing else, so I figured I'd find one.

    Whenever charged with ANY crime (or intend to put yourself in a position where you might be) consulting a lawyer is a good idea.

    I wouldn't worry too much about having a number on hand unless you are dealing big quantities. But if you're caught just get a hold of one of the lawyers from NORML, they're supposed to be pretty well versed in these types of cases lol.
