High all I have just noticed that I am using a miracle grow fert which is 15-30-15 I just went to my local grow store to pick up some lawn feed for my plants which are in the veg stage. In the guides I have read it says that N should be higher than P and K so I got some lawn feed which is 15-3-3. My question is ; are the P and K values high enough? If not any advice on what I should ask for? Also I saw some miracle grow lawn feed which was 36-6-6 would this be better for my plants or is it likely to burn them? mallett
well, neither one of those ratios are ideal for vegative growth. Any hoo, i wouldnt really risk it. go to your local plant nursery or home depot and get ferts ideal to your situation. a simple 15-15-15 ratio would work out.
My plants are nearly one month into their veg stage at the moment and around 25cm high(MAX). Would 15-15-15 be ok for the whole of my veg cycle? then 15-30-15 for flowering? Also how often should I feed my plants for optimal growth? Peace, mallett
hi, I'm Michael Everio living with my friends Chris Freville and Amber Sharman. we are interested in gardening since 8th October 2000, this means 9 years. we never used that too..
^^^^why are you using peoples names here on this web site. thats just retarted. and stay away from anything that can buy at the local store unless its a grow store and only use nutes that are specifically meant for your application
Just to reassure you, I have used MG lawn food (36-6-6) on some outdoor plants during veg. It will do the job, just use it at 1/2-2/3 strength. Any of the numerous nutes out there will work, just use them in the proper amounts (or less).
