This is great. it makes me feel so good hearing people say these things. but then i come back to reality and see that none of this is ever going to happen. not even with a president who supports this. we need a CONGRESS who supports this.
I've heard most of what the LEAP members have said from various other anti-drugwar proponents but what makes this so important is that the soldiers of the drug war show what a folly it is based on extensive personal and professional experience.
Somehow I missed this thread when it was first posted Good information, I love watching law enforcement officers think for themselves instead of just believing what's been hand fed to them.
That's exactly why they let us off the hook sometimes. ya it is illegal but they feel it is their obligation to let it slide as we do nothing wrong. (sometimes) My 2 friends got arrested for smoking and possession of bud (an ounce) They never got their court dates and it's been a while. We've come to the conclusion that they were let off the hook. I mean really, that cop could have never written up the paperwork or just disposed of it. He would rather do that than put two young adults through a bunch of bullshit over weed.
or he just wanted your stash(no write up = no evidence 2 turn in = free weed for the cop)... ever hear about the cop, i believe it was in Michigan, that took an Oz off some kids and made brownies with his wife...only to freak the fuck out and end up calling 911 telling them that he thinks he and his wife are dying from eating to many Pot Brownies? yea it happens A LOT more than you think it does...
