Last DVD/Blu-Ray you bought

  1. God, it's been months since I've bought a DVD or Blu-Ray.

  2. I don't remember I think it was season 6 of the office

  3. Been forever, possibly a season of Supernatural, I really can't remember.

  4. I saw Dark Knight on BluRay several years ago on a friend's Kuro Plasma and was totally blown away. The picture and black level was better than I saw at the IMAX theater locally. I was so impressed by the picture, I ended up buying the Pioneer Kuro Elite Plasma myself. So far, I haven't seen any TV at any price that beats the original Kuro. Pioneer sold the Kuro name lately to Panasonic I believe, but it's not a Plasma and doesn't even compare to the Pioneer model. It doesn't do black nearly as well.

If anyone is interested in purchasing a top of the line TV, take "Dark Night" to the store to compare black levels and color purity before you plunk down $5000+ for a premium TV.

The Kuro Elite originally sold for $6500 for a 60" set.
