entirely possible, though the glass would reflect the laser and could destroy your eyes so its just not really recommended. you can use a magnifying glass, i saw a vaporizer that used the sun, i dont know if its still on the market but its a proof of concept

 

search function bro. Just had this like 2 weeks ago. And yes you can if you're ready to drop between 150-300 bucks on a laser that powerful (1 watt laser)

 

You can absolutly smoke with a laser, but you need special eye protection or you will fuck you eyes up big time.. Also lasers powerful enough to smoke with are expencive as stated above.

 

I think this is the very basis of some vaporizers, actually.

 

I think lighting a ballon or a plastic bag is enough.
