Anyone ever had it done? How would you rate the results? I wanna get this done but not unless it's 20/20 or damn close
My dad got it done a few decades ago when the technology for this was fresh on the market and he said his vision improved drastically.. He no longer needs glasses and can see sharper then a hawk.. If you have the money for it, I say go for it
I did Lasik when I was 18. It was like a 5 minutes operation. 2 docs operated on my eyes and I was wide awake in the same clothes I came in, painless, almost. I hate the smell of my eyes burning though I had dry eyes before the surgery, and the doc almost said no to the surgery because of that. But I did it anyway but now my eyes are even drier and I have to wear shades wherever I go because it made my eyes even more light-sensitive. The important thing is I have a perfect sight now, but I assume I'll have to re-do it again in like another 10 years from now as they told me. Because it degrades over time. Good luck man and go with Lasik not Laser if you can, my sis did laser and it failed and was hella painful, she did it again and it went well though. oh, and now there is Lasek lol What are the Different Types of Laser Eye Surgery?
There is another kind of surgery where they basically sew a new retina on your eye that makes you see perfectly, well it's like a contact lens that they fix to your eye. I dunno what the procedure is called but my neighbor got it done and he said he could see better than he ever could his whole life and he is 68 years old.
