I would like to use 3 gallon fabric pots (maybe air pots if recommend) for my next indoor grow. What have you seen for the highest yields in 3 gallons pots? Heard that if the right nutes and lights are used, your yield can be incredible and along was this photo of these bad ass plants in a damn solo cup, I mean peep this shit... Thoughts?
I'm using a daily feed-to-drain coco/perlite setup in 5 gallon fabric pots. Here's my 4 girls at the moment, starting Week 6 of flower.
Beautiful plants. What is exactly is feed to-drain set up? Am I overthinking this and it is what the name implies, water feed into a drain.
Yeah it just means that since coco is so forgiving, you feed give it light feedings (400-600PPM) daily, till you get about 20% runoff. It's kind of hard to over-water with coco, but it still acts like soil. First time grower, and my plants are looking like this. Kind of speaks for itself lol. I basically have a big disposable oven tray underneath each, with a metal grate to support the fabric pots so that they can drain into the tray. I've gotta totally unzip the tent and clear out the plants each week to drain their pans. It's a huge pain in the ass; what with doing that on top of watering every day (sometimes twice a day), but I've got a lot of free time now. The results speak for themselves, eh?
