Largest yield per veg time . Hmmm ? Lighting training

  1. IDK the point of this post ? Because i wanted too.
Old pic i made a journal on it . 10 inch tall veg quick squeeze the branches to it pops and a fimm . Temps were steady 55 f 10 dollar nutrients from hardware store . Lack of anything else in care.
So what is your favorite veg size and amount of light ? I am not sure on the yield my post says 6 to 8 o so lets say it pulled 7. Please post your pics lets have some bud porn . thumbnail.jpg

  2. I find it a very confusing equation juggling time in veg, size of containers, and distance from fixtures in flower where through veg those influences don't seem as impactful. Very solid effort on display there.

  3. Yea meaningless . I could put a plant up that was vegged for 6 months straight then toss three 600 watt hps bulbs just outside of it shining on a angle to get some side lighting as well. Pull over 2 pounds use a 20 gallon pot . Post is just for fun. That plant was a 3 gallon pot pictured .

  4. The math ain't mathing for me dog. Your one plant in a 20 gal pot yielding 32oz is nice an all, but you're talking 8 months to get that.........now if it were me, instead of that 20 gallon pot I would use (7) 3 gallon pots (same amount of medium as your one pot) and I would veg for 5 weeks, 8-9 weeks of flower puts me at 3 months plus a week and I would pull at least 35-42oz from those plants. I can then repeat that whole grow and still be less than 8 months invested. So for the same amount of medium and in less time that your one plant grow, I can produce 70-84oz (4.3-5.25 lbs). Now why the hell would I (or anyone else) want to waste 8 months for 2 pounds when I could have 5 pounds?

  5. I didnt realize that the difference was that much. I dont know how many three gallon pots I can fit in my 32x32 inch tents. I have a single plant in a 7 gallon in there now.

Might have to do my planed bathroom to grow space conversion earlier than planned.

  6. I only flower 2 at a time in my 3x3, even with just the 2 it gets pretty full in there. But I also run a veg tent, so the second the flower tent is empty there are 2 more waiting to go right in. I harvest 2 photos every 8 ish weeks, so 10-12 oz's every 8 weeks from the photos and I also run 2 auto's spaced about 6 weeks apart in the veg tent, which adds another 6-8 oz's per 8 weeks. Keeps me stocked up on a few different strains....cause I hate running out.

  7. Got any journal you can link? Like similar 3x3 setup?

I'm like a Chinese observe and copy like a good knock off :roflmao::roflmao:

Last time you got me thinking I might be wasting power on lights, now you got me questioning my plants LOL

I want to see how big of a size you get them, since I recently began putting a screen over the plants and keeping shorting for flat canopy, and I think 3 gallon is the sweet spot for x4 per tent... bad idea?

If I were to do 2 like you I'd probably do Coco Coir only because it's faster

  9. Damn and thats the Promix HP/MaxiB combo? How long do you veg or you just flip after you fill the net? Sorry so many questions just sucking up tips no homo hahahaha

I recently switched to fabric pots... I'm not sure but think they'll help my yield in flower but I want to see how people setup their 3-5 gal in similar tents :)

BTW juicy buds and clean tent me likey :weed:

I've been vegging this plant for 9 maybe 10 weeks, she's had to wait for a new partner in another tent. I also tried to kill her with over/under watering. And today I thinned her out 10 days into flower. So not sure what I'm going to end up with.

    This is Skunk #1,

  12. Plant numbers . Some people can only have so many . two or three harvest per year what a lot of people a re forced to doo. I prefer the smaller plants like the one i put in the pic . Mother plant was cut. Two weeks to get roots. 1 week veg and establish the roots into the pot. Then 12/12 9 weeks . 12 weeks total. call it 7 was pulled from a plant . other plants two major harvests . each plant 32 os . So lets say . 7 os four times a year 28. oz . Larger plants 64 oz total year. different grow style . What works for you and is legal . Not every small plant will pull 7. True with that larger plant might not pull 2 and is a pos. But it might do two often and you might pull even more yield 2.5 each . growers in MI . when it was worth growing Larger plants
Some fun numbers . They are allowed 72 plants . 4604 oz yearly. smaller plants 2016 yearly.
Those larger plants requite a larger area like a bowling alley size .Do that math a grower is pulling a million bucks a year . So whatever you decide is best for your grow it should depend on a lot of situations . I would do the smaller plants in a start up situation for sure .
When i said veg for 6 months its usually a doner plant i am suggesting . It was cut on for months and months Yeah you could veg them for 4 months No more is needed 6 is way over kill .....

  13. I find it comical also, I do it every time with the water at some point. To be fair I am a landscaper in Yuma AZ, you see a struggling plant here the first thing you do is hit them with water and lots of it.

  15. i normally do about 6 weeks from sprout until flip with one topping and pull about 4 oz per plant but my current run is going to be my longest veg ever they are about 7 weeks from sprout in 1.5 gal and going into 10 and 5 gallon today with 5 strains using both LED and HPS should be interesting to say the least i have a journal started already

  17. agreed . It does not look like 7. It was rock hard. Collars were bigger then then a 12 ounce beer bottle i was thinking 4 or 5 back then has a surprise . It was grown from a led panel that only grabbed about 80 watts insane
