Large music festivals?

  1. Me and my friends are looking to attend one. We don't really have preferences on music but we were hoping for it to be this winter sometime(anytime between late October and January). The only issue is I don't have much experience in ever going to one, or even finding out where they are, which ones would be best, etc.

    Any help?

  2. Itl be hard to find a festival between oct and jan since fest season isnt goin on right now, theyre typically during the spring and summer months cuz its nice weather outdoors. That being said, there are lotsa raves still goin down, not exactly festivals, tho some will call themselves festivals. But for outdoor fests idk any goin on between those months.

  3. Not festival season right now, there are still shows and concerts happening but fest season pretty much ended with strange creek (at least for me).

Anyway for the on season the obvious 'large festivals' are Mountain Jam, Bonnaroo, Gathering of the Vibes, Mayhem fest, Wormtown; Bear Creek, Strange Creek.

There are dozens really, all depending on where you live

  4. ya wait for the summer, summer festivals are the shit...ill probly make my way to 3-4 festies next summer...everything about them is just fucking awesome

  5. I second Bear Creek, especially since it looks like you are in Florida. they have one of the best line-ups I've seen all year. I wanted to go so bad, but alas, not this year :(
