So I had to reboot my entire computer and start from scratch. I backed up all my files and all, then restored the notebook back to factory settings. I have been slowly reconfiguring all the ins and outs, installing updates and all that other really fun shit. However, I still don't have sound. I cannot even turn the volume up or down; it just stays at a solid bars (my PC has a 0 to 5 bar sound system). I have tried over and over to install sound drivers, but nothing is complying with what I am trying to accomplish. The speaker is not in the tast bar in the lower right hand corner, which shows I must be missing the sound/audio driver. HELP BLADES!!!
uninstall the current driver completely and delete it. download the new one and reinstall it. should work like a charm.
