my flourescent tube blew out and now all ihave is two spiral fourscents and i was wondering if i could use this desk lamp with a flourescent since the do put out a low amount of heat because in my grow box im at 2180 lumens
i have a metal halide myself but from talking to people i have found nothing rong with the spirals thay aint like hp or mh but thay do the trick about the flo lamp try it out but check up on it to see if its not overheating it could be dangeras hope every thing goes good with your harvest
I have 3 of those fluro lights in desk lamp housings on my plant. One on the ground pointing up, and the other two on a shelf above pointing down. Keep the lights about 2 inches from the plant and it'll be fine. I didn't have any heat issues, so hope you don't either.... easy...
