I struggle because im sort of shy :s There was this nice looking girl at the lake today and i got REALLY shy when I said hello and she smiled, so i couldn't really get passed those few awkward sentences that you have when you meet new people.
im a dude, but man, just start talking. us typing out pre made responses won't help you. what will is actually talking to women and working on your conversation skills. also i prefer to not open with a compliment, im more of a observational joke kind of guy. complementing her as the first thing you say isn't the best idea, honestly its better to just look her in the eyes, smile and say hello

Girls are human beings too so just remind yourself that when you start getting nervous.
