Laced bud??

  1. Hey guys! I’d really appreciate some help. My brother got some bud from a good friend. He was able to give us some pretty nice deals. my brother trusts the dude but i became suspicious over the cost. The bud has been some of the best i’ve ever tried but has a lot of trichomes (not just on the exterior part of the nug, but the interior as well). I decided to scratch it against a CD to see if glass could have been sprayed on it. the cd scratched even when i rubbed it lightly. i’ve read that any bud will scratch a cd but i’ve also read the oposite. i used a pax 3 and none of the toasted weed looks to have any glass or trichomes left. do you guys think it’s laced or am i being paranoid.

also, i chewed it (i read that was a way to check), and it had a very small amount of grittiness that went away almost instantly, i wet my fingers, touched the bud, and rubbed my fingers together and there was no grittiness.

  2. Well it's completely normal to have trichomes inside the bud (bad quality if not) and glass or something would only be on the outside. I would also imagine if the bud is somewhat dry it could scratch a CD but I never tried. Unless you buy from a dispo or someone you personally know who grows it you will not know if it is laced or had harmful pesticides sprayed on it. There really is no way to tell if say someone sprayed it with poisonous chemicals while flowering and you would have to test for laced drugs to know for sure. One time I smoked some of my friend's weed and had a 1-minute long seizure. Im a regular smoker for years so I assume it had pesticides or something sprayed on it. After that, I only ever smoked the weed I grow because I know what goes into it. So just based on what you said you are probably being paranoid because I see no reason to suspect it is laced. But always remember poisoned weed most of the time will show you in zero ways it is poisoned. So unless you grow it or get it from a regulated dispo there is always a chance it could be laced or poisoned. You could have a seizure or die or have no symptoms at all. Everyone who smoked my friends weed was fine except me... Sometimes new growers arent even aware that certain fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides that are ok to use on vegetable plants are poisonous to people when used on weed plants. Other growers would rather risk people's health and lives over profit if their crop is being killed by something. So to sum that all up your being paranoid because you would probably actually never know if your street weed is laced or poisoned.

  3. This is why a reputable dispensary is so important. They have to test all products.

  4. Why would it have been "sprayed with glass" LOL. Seems much harder than just growing good weed.
