    Rockstar Games Presents L.A. Noire

Rockstar isn't known for disappointment :bongin

  2. I saw that this game is gonna be sick. I can't ever remember Rockstar making a bad game.

  3. I concur, ill be checking this game out, hopefully theres a demo release. I have a feeling this game will be a DLC whore.

  4. About damn time, too.

    Here's to hoping it isn't pushed back...again.

  5. Aye it will be a DLC game. They said it in Gameinformer a few months back, that every few months they will release new crimes to solve. So basically once you beat the campaign it's never really over. Of course GTA did this too, but damn this game is going to be badass.

  6. Yeah new cases to solve would make this game epic. Otherwise this game is pretty useless after you solve all the cases. Hopefully on pc there will be community released cases. If and when it comes out on pc.

  7. Won't be buying any DLC for this game, I suppose. DLC is usually such a let-down. Then again the only DLC I have ever bought besides map packs was The Lost and Damned for GTA IV, and gotta say it didn't exactly take my breath away.

I will consider buying it once they release all the DLC as a package at GameStop.

  8. I love Noir fiction and whatnot, and the fact that rockstar is making a video game about it = insta-boner

  9. Yeah wish I had done this with GTA. I normally buy DLC for games if I enjoy them, so I'll have to see how I like the game to start off with. Haven't really seen anything that's digging into a crime. They need to release a video just solving one case so we can get a glimpse :bongin:

  10. Looks cool but the fact rockstar are making it puts me off.

  11.

You are aware they released games like:

    Grand Theft Auto
    Bully
    Midnight Club
    Red Dead

    You do know this yes?

Red dead redemption was basically GTA with horses, but they actually put in some sort of not-retarded story which made it bearable. Could have been a much better game with a little differentiation IMO.

GTA, well... if you like it you like it but tbh i've hated every GTA game since GTA 3, it's all gone too serious.

Besides that i've really seen my arse with sandbox games now, they get repetetive and boring after a while.

Credit where it's due, Max payne was awesome, but i'm yet to see them make a game that good since.

  13. red dead was/is epic

  14. Haha, Bully. A character in that game, Melivin, well, the actor that plays him, and his likeness, is my son's best friend. He is also currently in the HBO show Hung. He plays the lead character's son. But one of his first gigs was the game Bully. He's a cool kid, from a tiny suburb town about as far from Hollywood in the US as you can get, yet he may make it big. :)

  15. what game isn't? dead space 2 came out yesterday and they already announced a dlc

    I can't stand that shit.

  16. yeah i didn't mind when they were genuinely adding extra content to the game, but now they're just leaving out parts they could put in for extra money. i bet most of the dlc is already made before the game even releases. bullshit man.

  17. If a game's going to have lots of add ons just for the sake of making more money i'll usually just torrent it and play on cracked servers.

  18. After feeling extremely let-down by Mafia 2; i'm rather hesitant to get my knickers in a twist over this one. But then again, Rockstar haven't let me down yet.

DLC can be rather irritating, to put it mildly, but then again I usually have the choice to not buy it if I don't want it...

Plus there are some other top notch games coming out this year.

  19. You're entitled to your unpopular opinion. ;)

I still gush about Red Dead Redemption, such an epic piece of fiction.

  20. Red Dead was an amazing game and this one is sure to be one as well. My calender's been marked.

I wish dlc was cheaper.. I don't like the fact that you're buying a 60 dollar game and buying so much fuggin content that makes the game cost over 100 dollars, or more, in the end.
It reminds me of iTunes.. buy each song for a buck and by the time your library is full enough to suit your needs you had already spend 1,000 plus your iPod price. Good thing I don't use iTunes I guess.
