kosher gummies gelatin

    I'm making my first ever gummies. i have read a number of recipes and most call for using unflavored and flavored gelatin. They call for 3/4-1 1/4 oz of knox unfavored gelatin (4 packets in a 1oz box). I have decided on using bakel jel dessert unfavored because it is Kosher, no pork product. The package I have says 3oz and measures out to 1tbsp. Could anyone tell me how many teaspoons of the powder gelatine is in each packet of the Knox unflavored gelatine?

    Hello.,the Knox packet has .25oz and it measured to just a whisker under 1tbsp. something doesn't seem right.,
