kool aid ice in ice catcher?

    So I have heard people say not to use anything but water in a bong, because
    certain liquids can absorb the THC from the smoke.

    does this actually happen?

    i'm not going to put actual kool aid in the bong, but i made some kool aid ice
    which i am wanting to put in the ice catcher of my bong, and i am wondering-

    1st- would this change anything at all? do you think i would actually be able to taste, or tell a difference?

    2nd- do you think it would absorb any of the THC or other compounds from the smoke?

    Thanks for any input you have on the subject

    well im not sure if it would absorb the THC but it would probly make your bong sticky because when it melts it will just go down the inside of your bong making it sticky and gross but if i were you i would just try it :bongin:

    This will accomplish nothing but covering the inside of your bong with gross sticky liquid sugar.

    That sounds tasty man. I never have used anything in a bong besides water, but in my bubbler I will put Gateroade, Arnold Palmer, Kool-Aid!

    Yeah, that was another thing i was worried about- stickiness.

    I think I will try it, being sure to get done quick and take the kool aid ice out before it drips too much.

    this will probably happen tonight, so i'll post how it went in case anyone is interested

    I enjoy filling my bong with sprite from time to time, definitely tastes 10000x better.

    best thing to do it get sea water. rip a bong full of sea water and you're see how a real salior feels.

    My friend got a new bong, which we wanted to use ASAP which just so happened to be in the back of my friend's truck parked to go to the fair, since he has one of those covers on the truck bed and you can't see inside of it from the outside. (don't tell me that this was a dumb decision, we knew our surroundings and were fine) We had no water so we used gatorade. It worked well, made the smoke taste kind of like gatorade and less like weed which for me is kind of a downer because I like to taste the weed. But it worked fine. If you're worried about it getting sticky just rinse it out right after you're done.

    THC is fat soluble, so I think the only things you could put in your bong that would take the THC out of the smoke, would be like milk or ... soup. hahahaha. Which would be nasty.

    hahaha nice man.

    well i just tried it with the kool aid ice cubes and it was pretty sweet.
    there wasn't a huge difference in taste, but it was at least noticeable.

    i made sure too rinse it out and i think it should be all good.
