Yea i dont believe she is stunted, just difference in genetics. Well only time can tell for sure, i doubt it though. Cheers
Some autos simply don't grow well. At least that has been my experience. Even the same strain grown side by side. My last run of Nirvana NL autos did this. One came out great, and the other just made a bunch of spindly airy buds covered in a ton of trichs.
Hey man, thanks for contributing that insight. I suspect you may be right... And thanks for dropping in!
DAY 37 from seed WOW. Came home from work today and checked on the girls - Norli has started stretching! In fact, she is closing the gap between Misty and herself. So there you go! Looks like it WAS just a characteristic of her particular strain, and she certainly wasn't stunted at all. She was just playing according to her own tune. Well, that has been taken on board and added to my store of experience! The following pics were taken yesterday (19th April): These were taken this evening (20th April): Norli hasn't started pre flowering yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if she starts over the next few days at this rate.

DAY 40 from seed Well, Norli continues to go from strength to strength! Compare these photos with the ones I took of her just 3 days ago...
Yes! I turn on the grow candy light for a few hours everyday - can't keep it on constantly because it raises the temps way too much. Good to see you in here bro!
Those few hrs will definitely help out a lot. I was just about to place a order for out door season for some autos. Thanks bro I been away for awhile it was a bummer i was looking to seeing gh around but it seems hes been away for awhile also. I'm glad to see your still around and spreading some growers love.
"...Thanks bro I been away for awhile it was a bummer i was looking to seeing gh around but it seems hes been away for awhile also. I'm glad to see your still around and spreading some growers love." Yeah true. I have been looking for GH too, but he's not been on GC for a few months as far as I can tell.
UPDATE! Some unfortunate news! Tonight while examining Norli I noticed the beginnings of pre-flowers, so I was getting excited. But upon closer inspection, I also noticed that NORLI IS GROWING BALLS. Yep, she's somehow hermied on me! Check it out... Here's what I first noticed: If you look closely at the above photo, you can see the pre-flowers starting. Now look at the following 2 pics: Here's some shots taken of Norli outside the pc server: DAMN! Oh well, looks like I'll be popping another bean into a wet paper towel tonight! I guess in the great scheme of things, this is just a minor setback... I wonder what caused Norli to hermie like that? Maybe just genetics? This is weird, cause I can't think of any other reason why she should have hermied - she wasn't subjected to any extreme temp changes (at least not for any significant periods of time) or unusual circumstances. Can anyone say what might have caused this? I'll have a think tonight about what strain I'll germ next. Maybe another Northern Lights?? I've also got Think Different auto by Dutch Passion as well as CBD Crew's MED GOM auto. Hmmmmmmm....
Think Different by Dutch Passion is a huge autoflower plant, so if space is a premium, I'd choose another strain.Maybe do the think different next run? Good luck anyways, bad luck on the hermie? Did you use excessive red spectrum during veg? This can trigger it too.
