Because I am moving to North Carolina, today was my last sunday at the church that I've been attending for a year or so now. I could write a book about how I got there, but that's another story. I play bass and sometimes guitar for the services. It's me, the man who taught me, and his sons and daughter, along with another singer. They've all been like family to me since I met them. I love them dearly with all my heart and I'm very sad to leave them. Me and Santiago, the drummer, were going to go out to lunch today for a bit of closure on this. His dad ended up needing a ride to his house. So we hopped in Santiago's truck and went to drop him off. While we were there, they suggested I leave my bass so that it doesn't get baked. (litterally...it's like 110 right now) So I walk in and....SURPRISE! To my surprise, there were balloons and my family and everything there in that room. They had put together a little surprise goodbye party with lots of food and everything. I'm so touched by their doing that for me. I could easily have cried, but no sense bringing tears to a happy occasion. Still, it means so much to me. I guess that's all I have to say here. There's so more to it, but this is it in a nutshell. I guess I just wanted to say how great it is to have people with the love of God in them loving you the way they love me. I'll never ever forget them, and as soon as I can come back to visit them, I will.

Awesome, I used to live about 40 mins from Asheville. You can find some daaaaank bud there. Cheap, too. NC has some damn find soil to grow in too. Call it "Black Gold". +rep for awesome choice of cities. Hendersonville would be cheaper, and its still really close to Asheville.
word to that. yea choose asheville. seriously. not only for the bud...but hendersonville is the nc capital for the KKK. its so fucking backwards and racist and dumbass that i would not wish for anyone to live there. asheville has the best bud with the friendliest dealers. sweet town too.
Yea, tons of Klan Members there. They used to have rally's in our town all the time. Hell yea, Asheville has tons of friendly dealers. All with a bunch of different named strained all well grown. Last time I was there, you could get a Oz. for around $250. Not that bad at all. Less if you're friends with the dealer.
Glad to hear that there's good soil for growing, since that's exactly what I was hoping. As for the KKK....well, if i ever stumble upon a clan meeting when I'm in the woods cultivating...I'll just blow them up.
