    Wouldn't be so sure about that, the Romans and Egyptians both smoked cannabis, as did the ancient Chinese and Siamese cultures, not to mention the later Islamic civilizations from Mesopotamia. It was a very normal thing until about 70 years ago and it's pretty likely they did smoke/eat it, or were at least aware of it.
