So, I have a kief box and it needs to be cleaned out. The screen on it has a bunch of kief that is stuck to it and I want to get it off because it is preventing kief from going on to my tray. Several things: You could try to remove the screen and simply rinse it off, let it dry, and replace it. But if that's not a possibility, you could dampen a paper towel with isopropyl alcohol and rub it down, which should help get rid of some of that sticky hash. My suggestion for the future is to keep a nickel in the box on top of the screen, as it will help keep this from happening.
Is there any way I can do it and keep all that keef on my screen? Or would it just be best to clean it off? I dont think it is possible to replace the screen on this one
put the entire box in the freezer for atleast 20 minutes and the proceed to bang it on a strong table multiple times. the cold will make the kief become brittle, should work unless its compleatly caked up. If that doesn't work get a small amount of iso and pour it through the screen, catch the iso in a glass pan/plate underneath and let the iso evaporate, once its gone you have your self some bomb hash. Protip: i use a small amount of iso pour it on one part then pour it from the plate back into the cup and repeat so i dont have to use a shit load of iso, and it greatly reduces the drying time.
