Keyboard died tonight

  1. My wireless keyboard died while I was trying
to post something a few hours ago.  I thought
the batteries had died, so I changed them.
Still nothing.  Tried unplugging the USB
controller, still dead.  I've only had the thing
    for a year.

Now I'm using my Microsoft keyboard and mouse
and I hate it.  The USB controller sticks out and the
keyboard and mouse are way bulkier.

    Oh well.

  2. That sucks. I've been in that kind of situation myself, and it really sucks having to put up with and old, bulky keyboard (in my case, a wired one) until you replace the one that died.

    What keyboard was it?

I'm a big fan of the Logitech K360. It is a mini keyboard and it does require a function key, but it's small, light, and supposedly the batteries will last 3 years. The first one I had I killed by accidentally spilling milk on. I had it for over a year and the never changed the batteries in it. I listen to music and watch videos a lot and so the buttons for volume, and pause/play, forward and backwards come in really handy. I used them so much on the first one I had that I wore off the graphics on them.

  3. It was a Logitech K270 of all things.

Nice little keyboard.  I loved it.

  4. Get a mechanical keyboard
