Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by Meatman73, Aug 21, 2018.

  1. This is a tester run for some new nutes I was offered up to try will be a full run from veg to finish I have already started veg one of my mothers will appear in veg I will not be running full out feed schedule this run will be based on a 750 ppm to 800 ppm in veg and 900 to 1000 in flower there will be no pk boosters this is based just on the performance and quality of the nute line and feed schedule but only to reach desired ppm levels key grow is the nutes View attachment 1534859764040.jpg View attachment 1534859823519.jpg

  3. As you can see they are doing well they started as clones and are ready for a haircut the hair cut will also provide next runs clones but I am doing 4 instead of my usual one in veg I run 1 viparspectra 300 w led in flow I run 1 cmh 315 w and I run a bit different set up than most I run a mix of peat and perilite for medium in a flood and drain set up so that's the low down updates will be sporatic so you might want to click that fill a button to get notifications on updates View attachment 1534860940429.jpg View attachment 1534860984717.jpg

  8. Few pics after clones and hair cut not much else to say except the mom in there didn't like the switch to much but she is doing fine now and has greened back up and looks healthy I took clones from everything as the mom is the mom of the 2 in flow right now and the others are from a previous before that and so I took from all and going to flip all but 2 on next run 1535567595251.jpg 1535567555060.jpg View attachment 1535567676340.jpg

  10. So day 1 is starting did a pump and dump refill ph was sitting at 6.14 and PPm was at 989 it was about half recommend feed schedule 24 gal water and was 165 mil of each the red royal blue butterfly and purple cat and took 35 mil of ph down to stabilize ph other than that usually at week 5 I have to do a res change and at that point I usually add more boost for 1 week 4 days then I do a pump and dump and run sugars and water only to flush so here starts the flow run of key grow nutes keep an eye out will be weekly updates on Tuesdays or Wednesdays P_20180903_144733_LL.jpg P_20180903_144358_LL.jpg P_20180903_152621_LL.jpg P_20180903_152615_LL.jpg

  13. I just got barely enough to fill veg res and flow res once so I have tiny bit of the white royal and red royal the blue butterfly is gone same with the purple cat I actually only used 160 mil of both them when should have used 165 170 to hit 1000 ppm in my flow res my veg res I keep at 15 gal and run pretty light nutes in there only 500 to 800 depending on size of plant

  14. So missed the update on Tuesday so here it is Friday everything is looking good so far starting to get tiny flowering my temps are stable at 80 light on 63 light off water ph is at 6.1 and my tds is at 896 today everything looks healthy so far nutes seem to be a good combo so far at the lower ppm may raise it up on week 3 for this run being as I'm only running the nutes and no boosters P_20180914_184116_LL.jpg P_20180914_184111_LL.jpg P_20180914_184105_LL.jpg P_20180914_184058_LL.jpg P_20180914_184056_LL.jpg P_20180914_184054_LL.jpg P_20180914_184048_LL.jpg P_20180914_184051_LL.jpg P_20180914_184045_LL.jpg P_20180914_184042_LL.jpg

  16. Slow going for me so far too.

  17. It's nice for me anyway to see what the results are of a lighter feeding, of course in a recirculating system you should be able to do a lighter feeding in theory because nutrients tend to be that much more available.

I'm doing some experiments that are the exact opposite, so far I have gone up to 3x my recommended feeding and due to the complete lack of phytotoxic metals or bicarbonates, I have not been able to get the nutrients to cause any apparent burns or damage. Whether it will make any difference in final performance or quality of finished product remains to be seen. So far I haven't noticed much of a difference other than that I'm wasting a bunch of nutrients.

  18. Yeah I've always been weary of going to heavy with nutes especially how small I'm doing if I wreck one I'm way behind on production
