I will be growing in a 4x2x6.5 space. My light bar has 5 cree cobs. Going to start growing soon and will be changing out cobs during veg and flower. Currently i have it set up for veg using 2 of 6500k 70cri cobs and 3 of 3000k 90cri cobs. The 3000k 90cri have blues in them per cree's website. So currently the total kelvin set up is a combined 4400k with the whole deep blue spectrum covered with some reds for good root growth. Question that i have that has me going back and forth on is should i use 3 of the 6500k 70 cri and 2 of the 3000k 90cri cobs for a total kelvin of 5100k or keep my current set up?
I have no idea if that's how you figure out the total K of the light in the room or if you can even total the K?? If you can easily switch them out then for flower, use more of the 3000K. Edit : to add. I will be getting some 3000k 800 panels soon, with added far red 660nm strips. Most of my vegging will still be done under them.
