kelp meal for foliage feeding?

  1. Is kelp meal ok to apply during flowing as a foliage feeder?
  2. To be honest mate I don't recommend foliage feeding anything past 2 weeks flowering, up untill then yeah I would but after then I've noticed my pistles start to brown off from foliar feeding
  3. I think that it all depends on the environment your plants are in. Mold being the biggest worry and taste ofcourse, if your plants are somewhere dry, it shouldnt be a major worry. I took advise along these same lines last grow and I applied kelp/alfalfa as a foliar early in flower. Only bad side effect was my buds came in leafy....not too bad though.

Alot of growers will have different opinions on this Im sure. The general rule tends to be no spraying the buds...but we have a blade here who sprays his plants with fermented extract all the way up to week 5 of flower!! Going against the grain works good for him! Let your experience be your teacher.;)
