Hey guys. Still trying to get my tent set up and had some questions about ventilation. Would a 4" inline 195cfm and filter 200cfm be enough exhaust for a 3'x3'x6' tent with a 400w cool tube? Do I want a higher exhaust or higher intake? Sorry for the nooby questions. I just feel better hearing other people's opinions. Any feedback is appreciated.
Also how would I hook up my 6in ducting to my 4in equipment? Again sorry for the nooby questions lol.
I recently picked up a 600w into a 6" cooled hood with a 6" inline and I'm sure I could have gotten away with running my 4" fan instead, But does not mean it will work in your situation, depends how long your ducting is, where you vent to, ambient temps in the room, and a few other things, as far as hooking 4" to 6" they sell 4" to 6" or 6" to 4" adapters Good luck
Do the math. You want a fan that can pull 2-3X the amount of air in your tent Follow along Your tent is 3x3X6= 54 cu ft 54X2 ( or 3) = 108 - 162 So you need a fan that can pull 108 - 162 cfm So your 198cfm should do just fine
