Keeping Dutches fresh

Discussion in 'General' started by Fat Bags, Jan 26, 2007.

  1. Well I bought a box of dutches for myself to roll blunts (theres 55 in 1 box). Anyway, I need a way to keep them from going stale and I cannot get a humidifyer, it's out of my budget so please dont suggest it. Are there any trick or tips anyone can give on keeping dutch's fresh? It would be extremley appretiated.

    Thanks, Fatbags.

  2. well, u could always put em in ur refridgerator drawer that vegetables are supposed to go in, cuz most of those drawers have a controller for the humidity level haha, cheapest humidor u can get right there except it'll be cold instead of around 60 like a humidor is

  3. for real if a blunt is stale i breath on it slowly warmly and it is fine to twist with man. but if you plan on having the best cigar, aromatic properties, taste... id go with a humidifier.

  4. I use my freezer at home, works great....The other day my wife was cleaning it out and she found one wayyy in the back, must be over a year old and i couldnt tell the difference .

  5. the freezer usually keeps them fresh for me, i dont know about a year but ive probably smoked one a month old and it was fine

  6. Cant you make a himidifier? it is the best way, i understand you dont want it suggested, other than that, maybe a mason jar with an orange peel?! doesnt that keep weed fresh? maybe it will work.

  7. That mason jar and orange peel sounds nicee.

  8. ive worked in a smoke shop and the only real way to keep em fresh and soft is the humidifier, but my girlfriend buys blunts by the box and just leaves them out, just keep the box closed
