Why is it that we are just getting to where Katrina hit just now. We knew the storm was coming and we werent going to head down right after it hit? I mean this is our own country too. You guys saw the way we rushed over to the tsunami to go help them. Its like the government isnt trying. We should have had troops there right when the storm was passed. I mean come on. Im not trying to be mean, but we should be helping ourselves out first. It seems like we care about looking good than actually doing good.
i agree but when u look at the tsunamis...........i hate to say it but this is truly nothing what was the general number with the tsunami somethin like 250,000 i think i mean yes this is bad very bad, but in comparioson to that its just a storm to those who were hit with the tsunami. but i agree i think we should have more troops there at least to shoot them fuckers that feel the need to steal shit i cant belive some of the stories i have heard about dumbasses shootin at helicopters tryin to help them and all the looting
Yeah, the tsunami was worse. But, with the troops, Im not just talking about taking care of the troublemakers. Im talking about them help getting the people out of there, and also searching for lost people. I saw on the news that the Bush Admin. was looking to get $10 billion to help Katrina efforts. Thats a lot of money. And correct me if Im wrong, but I havent heard anything so far about other countries helping us out.

Because it isnt safe, the gangs and wanabee killers are sniping, raping, shooting, robbing. They have been sniping at the cops and helicopters! They need to be safe to, so they are waiting till its calmer. They are giving them supplies, but most people are to dangerous to get to. But I think arresting parents getting food or diapers for their families is crazy, they were saying if you were drinking bottled water some cops would arrest you for theft of it, when its a necessity. Also, it might not be as big as the tsunami, but this was avoidable! I want to know is if they knew for so long why the hell did they avoid this. All you heard was how they were going to lose oil from it, not one word on people dieing. Sure they said to evacuate, but that area is to poor.
